Systematic Instruction

Context: This project was developed for the Systematic Instructional Design course.

Conditions: At the time I started attending this course, the news around the world was about a dam collapse in a mining company in Brazil, my native country. Initially, the intention was to develop a course about how to proceed in this kind of disaster. After the need analysis and discussions with geologists and mining engineers, we decided that the Safety Course in Underground Minings would be more useful. A mining engineer served as SME.

ScopeUsing Morrison, Ross, and Kemp's model, the project went to completion from learner and task analysis through the design of materials and evaluation.

The final report was uploaded to Google Sites.

After graduation, I plan to translate the course into Portuguese, to be tested in a Brazilian company.

Role: This was a collaborative group project.
